Cesar Lopez Camarillo received his B.S. from Autonomous University of Chihuahua, Mexico in 1988, M.S. from Center for Research and Advanced Studies (CINVESTAV-IPN) in 1994, and his Ph.D. from National School of Medicine and Homeophaty-IPN in 2003. He is professor researcher at the Genomics Sciences Program of Autonomous University of Mexico City.
He has 38 scientific publications, 15 book chapters and 5 edited books. Dr. Camarillo´s research is directed to the identification of novel biomarkers in breast cancer through the use of genomics and proteomics technologies, and the microRNAs profiling in cancer.
Dr. Camarillo is the recipient of Lola e Iggo Flisser-OUIS-UNAM award, XIX National Biomedical Research Prize, Capital City Heberto Castillo Award, and Breast Cancer Research Bristol Award.
